How To Profit With Amway

By Ricardo Interpermian

Amway distributors: Do you want to become a top 3% earner? If so, keep reading.

If you seek to become a top earner, you need a way to promote to thousands of people- not just to the small number of friends and family network marketers are taught to approach.

You have to learn how to market- like a REAL business!

I've been groomed by 6 and 7-figure income earners who taught me the following strategies we quietly use to build large businesses:

- Learn To Market

Just like any store that advertises to bring in customers, you must market your business. Once you run out of friends and family to prospect, you are going to need to use real marketing to grow your business.

Purchasing leads and business cards, and setting up your company-provided replicated website seems like marketing. These are just marketing tools, and some are not very effective. A variety of elements factor into a marketing plan:

Identify Your Target Market: Who are you looking to bring into your Amway venture? Existing business owners? Or people desperate for money? Network marketers are a really attractive target market. Networkers understand the business to a degree and won't ask you if this is a pyramid. More importantly, network marketers have demonstrated they are willing to actually invest in a business, not just ask about it.

Position Yourself Properly: If you promote Amway, so do thousands of other reps. Why should anyone sign up with you? You must define and communicate a differentiated value proposition.

Promote: How will you generate leads when you don't have any more family and friends to approach about Amway? You're going to need a sales and marketing education to learn to generate leads.

Follow Up Strategy: Once you generate a lead, how will you follow up? Use both live phone calls and automated emails to handle follow up.

- Market Effectively

Like any established business, you must market to generate sales. Once you run out of friends and family to prospect, you are going to need to use real marketing to grow your business.

Just because you have business cards, a replicated website and some brochures does not mean you are doing any real marketing. A lot of these tools are ineffective and a waste of time. A variety of elements factor into a marketing plan:

Identify Your Target Market: What type of person do you want in your Amway business? Existing business owners? People who are in dire need of money? I recommend you target other network marketers who are looking for a better way to build their business. Network marketers won't waste your time with stupid questions about whether this is a scam, a pyramid, etc. Networkers have shown they are willing and able to make a monthly autoship purchase.

Positioning: A lot of other people promote Amway too. Why should anyone sign up with you? Decide what sets you apart and communicate that to the marketplace.

Promotion Strategy: Once you run out of friends and family to prospect into your Amway business, how will you generate leads? Learn direct response online marketing tactics that produce leads.

Following Up: After you generate a lead, what will you do to follow up? Use an automated email system, combined with live phone calls, to build rapport with and close sales.

- Promote Your Business Online

Internet marketing can be a very effective way to take your Amway business to the next level. Leveraging the Internet has many benefits:

- Global reach

- The potential to attract large numbers of qualified leads

- The potential to automate your online marketing so you free up your time

- Month-to-month online marketing expenses can be moderate

New marketers in companies like Amway usually just spam online. Get in on the ground floor! You've never seen a comp. plan like this! Our products are great! This is spammy marketing.

Absolutely no one cares about your company, its products or your comp plan. Networkers in companies like Amway want solutions to real business problems. Network marketers want leads. Networkers want their check to be bigger. They want a solution to their attrition problem. Networkers want far higher levels of duplication in their business.

Focus your Internet marketing efforts on solving the needs of other network marketers. Examples:

- Put up a blog with content on how to reduce attrition.

- Create a video series that teaches how to solve duplication issues

- Write a report on ways to generate leads online.

By solving the problems other networkers face, many will consider you a mentor. A subset of these people will reach out to join your Amway organization.
