The management also uses the department for specific reasons. One of the main ones is hiring new workers. The personell in the department usually have high emotional evaluation tactics thus can easily identify the candidates who are being interviewed that best suit the job. The department is thus key to ensuring new recruits hired are qualified for the positions.

Clients with complaints are also often directed to the Pr department. This is because the personell in the department are able to calm the client and assure them that their complaints will be addressed in a comforting way. The department is also in charge of handling the company and its communication with the media, that is the building of the company image.

Each company should ensure that they have a Hr department to manage their relations with the public. Without the department, the company is risking its public image which may affect its profits and number of clients. By having a department that deals with the relations between people, the company is able to ensure that all its public are satisfied with the services they receive from the company.
