Reddit And Car Videos Preferred By Man Who Outsourced His Own Job

By Cornelius Nunev

Usually, when one hears about outsourcing, it denotes that a business is going to fire a lot of people, hire new employees overseas for pennies and pay executives more. Reports of a male who outsourced his own career would usually seem outrageous but one guy really did it.

Man not joking about outsourcing

When a business outsources labor, it usually means they are firing a lot of employees and paying next-to-nothing for someone in another country to do the labor. Then, executives make extra money for the change. People who work in hard jobs probably consider outsourcing the labor, but they do not mean it in the same sense.

When people joke about outsourcing, they mean that they pay pretty much nothing to get someone else to do their jobs for them. According to BBC, this is not a joke, and one man has decided to do it.

The man's identity is unknown, and he is referred to as "Bob," but he outsourced his career. As a software developer, he paid a Chinese company to do every little thing for pennies.

Cats humorous in the videos

Bob, the male who outsourced his own job, was a software creator who works for a company in the United States. It's not known which one. The business employed Verizon to assess the security of its virtual private network, as it noticed numerous log-ins and PDF files from China, according to NPR.

Bob's work at the business was considered timely and of high-quality, making him a model employee at the company. He was making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year at his career until he had been discovered. The business figured out that he hired a software consultancy firm in China to do the work.

During work hours, Bob was surfing the internet, looking at cat videos and buying things on EBay. Verizon discovered Chinese contractors logged in when he was at work. He used an RSA token, according to PC Magazine.

Company not happy about it

Evidently Bob used many different companies to outsource to, but it only cost him $50,000 a year to do it. He was making hundreds of thousands, so that was not much in his mind. Bob might require loans to get by now that he wastes so much cash rather than doing all the work himself.

Bob, as you can imagine, has been terminated.
