Why Use Mobile Billboard Truck

By Christine Rogers

Every company has marketing strategies. They apply these to accomplish their need to let customers familiarize their products. They do advertisements, product launching, and celebrity endorsements. When it comes to roaming outdoor ads, a mobile billboard truck will help them get closer to the public.

For many years, truck billboards have been the first and still commonly used mobile advertisement today. Due to its box shape, the company can place their print ads on all its three sides. It is also a very convenient method of strategic marketing. It can run all day in any streets of the megacities and metropolis areas.

It also has features that can be flexibly added on to it. LED lighting effects can be installed that will light up in the night. LED screens can also be placed on all sides that will play their video ads. Sound systems can be placed on top that will play their company song.

They can also add showrooms to the truck. They can replace the steel walls to thick and durable safety glass panels. This way, viewers from the streets can see their marketing stage inside. Here, actors and stage props may be placed to enhance the pleasantness of the product to them.

This is only limited to their creative design and story board marketing. The marketing team can play around with ideas and set ups until they decide which ones are best. It is like they have a mini stage play inside. This will increase the interest of viewers which will result to increase in customers, sales, and marketability.

Location areas covered through these trucks will increase. Because of its size, curious audience will come closer to see their displays. This will result to gaining diverse customers in both numbers and types. Aside from that, cost per mille expenditures will lower due to the affordability of renting these trucks.

Despite that, this type of advertising also has disadvantages to bring. Renting mobile trucks are only on a short term basis, unless stated otherwise in their contract. Though affordable, it incurs costly set up costs. Thus, it is highly recommended if they can do this on a monthly basis to lower its price.

If the company does not like to hire mobile companies, they are welcome to create their own. That way, operational expenses are kept within the company. It is costly at the start but it will yield potential financial results later once it has been on the road. They can reach high market demand areas more flexibly than being limited to what is on the contract with the mobile companies.

To begin, a feasible design must be determined first. It must be seen even at a far distance. The upper management has to approve this first to ensure it will catch customer interest. The design has to be simple yet powerful. Information here has to be clear and concise so customers can remember it easily. When it comes to the image, it is better to choose one out of many that have a huge impact to customer. This way, they would not be overwhelmed by too much photos there.
